"I shall go back!"
“My week in Montisi was planned in a way that everything I did, and indeed wanted to do fitted exactly into place. Everything that was scheduled took place and everything was fun. Wine and cheese pairing was a revelation, learning and seeing how cheese is made, how the simple olive becomes olive oil, and how flour and eggs become pasta. All was all interesting and fun. I cooked, drank, walked, saw, ate and laughed for a glorious week away. For a taste of the Italian way of life you cannot do better. The cooking was a joy, and Liz who teaches painting to all comers has that patience of a saint, everyone comes out of her class regardless of their ability going in, with a painting. Ann Alexander has the finger on the pulse of her community. She picks her wine cellars her cheese maker, and places of interest with care so there is a welcome on arrival and delicious food and wine on the go! Her guide to Siena a lovely young woman, sophisticated, knowledgeable and delightful, no queuing, no jostling to try and listen to what is being said, this was a real treat. I shall go back, more than likely with a group of hand picked friends to do it all again!”

"We will be back to sample a lot more!"
“A most memorable and well organised experience with like-minded people. Contrasting activities, tasty dishes to create and excellent wines and cheeses to sample, in and around this picturesque village set in the wonderful Tuscan countryside. We will be back to sample a lot more!”

"What a wonderful week we had."
“What a wonderful week we had. Thank you Ann, for making it one of our most memorable holidays ever. We loved Montisi and having such great company made it very special. I was tempted to use the ‘Mama Mia’ exclamation when buying an extortionately overpriced coffee today. We have been ruined forever after having the fabulous (and cheap) Italian coffee”.

"The magic of Montisi captivated us both"
“The magic of Montisi captivated us both from the moment we arrived – it is a tranquil and beautiful place. We had a relaxing, yet interesting and challenging holiday. The food, drink and company was excellent throughout.”
It worked out just as we wished, and following the cooking with Alessandro I now know how to make pasta and prepare a good bruschetta. My first go at watercolours was a surprising success, mainly due to the superb instruction which was relaxed, easy to follow, and the groups are small.
The daytrips to vineyards, an olive press and even a countryside cheese farm with the best view from an outdoor lunch table I’ve ever seen, were interesting and fun.
If you like walking , there are miles of countryside footpaths to roam and you can sense the pride the local community have in their village. Sit with the locals , enjoying an early morning espresso and a croissant in a local bar - and at night look at the sky with its myriad of stars. Magical.”

"Thank you Ann and your team"
“Painting is made a lot easier when you are surrounded by inspirational historic landscapes, combined with the expert tuition of local artist Elizabeth and my fellow Montisi Magic students.
Thank you Ann and your team for your enthusiastic introduction to this lovely part of Tuscany”.
"I have no hesitation in recommending Ann"
“Ann is an organiser par excellence. We thought we knew what to expect, but reality far exceeded expectations! Ann gave us a week to remember, showed us sights we will never forget, introduced us to new culinary delights with great wines, and actually showed me that I do actually have the ability to paint a picture! I have no hesitation in recommending Ann”.
"We remember our holiday with the fondest of memories"

"A week full of new experiences"
“A week full of new experiences – Montisi Magica does exactly what it says on the tin
If you are looking for a holiday with a difference in a location that is stunning then Montisi Magica is it. As someone who cannot draw I was amazed and delighted with the outcome of the painting lesson, I now have a painting that is good enough to show off to friends and family!
The cookery lessons were fun and the food delicious. After a week in Montisi I am ready to book for next year. The warm welcome and introductions to other Group members and locals in the village on day one set the scene for a week full of new experiences and opportunities to see the beautiful countryside.
Montisi Magica does exactly what it ‘says on the tin'”.
